My trip

I went to Chaiyaphom to join in the local project which calls “Thamayatra” with our class. It is a campaign to protect the environment in the province that these days have been destroyed by human hands. This campaign didn’t stay at one place; we had to walk around the main river and cross the mountain, went to visit the other village every day which took the distance for 86 kilometers in 7 days.

In the parade, there were monks, students like us, doctors and other people who were interested in this project and wanted to help people. We had to hold the flags which are Thailand’s flag, Buddhism’s flags, Thamayatra flags and others, which made the parade look powerful.

In this trip, we were walking to the villages and gave the knowledge to the villagers, having the activities to prove that the local river is dirty and make them sick, having the Buddhism ceremony, taking about the problems with people for example the doctor would give the advice about the health and diseases which the villagers get it from the pesticide when they grew the crop. The Thamayatra’s stuff showed the slide about the nature problems in the province to the villagers. They did many things, having a show every night, take care about the food and water that we need. I appreciated them so much because they did everything, the activities for fun, and the activities for knowledge.

After the campaign, we walked up the mountain and stay there for one night. But before we went there, there was a forest fire which the stuff and us went to see it and decided to help if we can do .The forest fire was ended by the villagers who live nearby. This situation caused a lot of time so it made us late to go up the mountain, but we still going there. We were lost and couldn’t find the cliff that we had to go. We walked until midnight and decided to sleep at the best place that we could find. That night made me very tired, but I felt happy because all the way up here wasn’t comfortable and easy to come up. We helped each other all the way.

This trip gave many things to me. I learnt to be patient and learnt to be a person who care about other people that I don’t know before. I learnt to stay with many people and learnt to live easily. The things we ate, the place we slept or took a shower weren’t comfortable and like our home. When I stayed there for 10-11 days, I had a simple life. We didn’t have more technology there. We didn’t have a place for shopping or some things special to eat. We walked and learnt. We had 5 -6 hours to sleep. I think this trip gave me a good experience in my life. And taught me many things that so important. It was a life experience that you couldn’t get it from other place.

How do I feel when I do something special?

First, I want to tell you that my life doesn’t have the special moments very often. The special moment in my life is when I had to show my ability in public places like playing the recorder, presenting the knowledge at the end of term, or having the play. I can remember all these moments although they were the short moments in my life. I always feel nervous and excited when I do these things. My hands will shake a little bit and my heart will beat so fast, so before I go out to show something I had to take the deep breath and stay with myself. I would feel more meditative and confident to do something. I always expect for the good result from these special moments but sometimes it wouldn’t be like my expectation. I would feel sad and hopeless for many days until I got something more interesting to do and I would forget it. Although I have done many shows, I still feel nervous and excited. I have noticed myself that I will feel nervous when I have to do something in action like acting or playing music. But when I have to speak or present in front of people, I wouldn’t feel nervous. I think I have more meditation and know that situation was easy to solve the problem when bad things had happened.I feel nervous when I have to do the test too. I felt excited and hot inside my body. I hope that I could do it. The other special moment in my life that can happen easily is when I did something that I like, for example reading the novel. I would forget everything that was around me and feel happy with my own world. I felt free because I didn’t have to think about my real life, what I have to do next. The time would pass so fast in that moment. I try to make myself feel happy easily with the little special moments in my life. I don’t want to go out to find some things to make myself happy like go out for shopping or watching the movie. If I can’t do it, I will not feel happy. I think happiness depends on your mind. I think when I live with my family, do the things that I like and playing with my friends, these moments are the special moments in my life.

What I want in my country’s leaders.

In Thailand, I want our leaders to change our country in our King’s way, sufficiently economy. I think this way is good and suitable with our country. Thailand is an agriculture country which the nature and the environment are the most essential things that we should protect and restore, so I think that our leaders should be the people who recognize what are important and necessary for our country.
In my opinion, the leaders that can do what I have said they have to be honest and not selfish because this way to improve our country is hard to do. They need good intention and a lot of money to do it, so if they are corrupt I think they can’t do it. Another thing that I think they should have is the real knowledge about the people. They should know the real problems that we have, real situations that we face and what are important things that we really need in that time. These things will really help us so I want the leaders who would care about other people more than themselves. I don’t want our leaders to be the people who know a lot about this fashionable world or the high technology but don’t know about the real life that Thai’s people are living.
And the last thing that I want in my country’s leaders is they should be good people. I think in our society now has many people that have good skills and knowledge that can develop our country but they don’t have the good mind to make our country live with happiness. I think this is the most important thing that everybody should have. If everyone has good mind and thinking, our country will full with happiness and peace. We will not have the war, everybody are friends.
I don’t know that it will happen or not in the future but if these things can happen, I think our country will be better than now.

what I think I want to do with my whole life

First, I think I want to get into the university. I don’t expect that I have to learn in the university until I can get the master degree. I want to study what I like and I think I can do it. I have two jobs that I want to do. The first job is an interior decorator so in the university, I want to study about art. I like to decorate the houses, designing which furniture should I put in this room or in that room and I want to create my own furniture too. I like drawing and coloring too. I think when I have nothing to do I will travel and find the beautiful places to draw a picture. This job will make me feel happy and I can travel to the other places that I’ve never seen before. The second job is the people like Greenpeace. I like art and nature. I want to travel around the world, helping people and save the nature. Many people tell me that this job doesn’t give a lot of money so I think if I can be an interior decorator and have much more money to take care my own life and my parents. I will do this job. I think if I can be like Greenpeace I will draw the picture where I went to. I like to draw a picture about the nature. Green leaves, blue sky and the sound of nature make me feel calm and relax.
I think I will do these jobs until I’ m about 50 to 60. I think I will not get married because l like to think, and doing something with my own self. I don’t like to take care about other people so much and when I live with my own life I feel free.
In the last time in my life, I want to have my own wooden house that surrounded by the trees and flowers. I want to grow the vegetable and plants, doing my own farm. I don’t want money in that time but I want the peaceful of my life, living happily with nature and have a last pure breathe of my life.

What thai society expects of me ?

I was born and grew up in Thai society. People expect me and the other young teenagers to be good people and have good education. Thai society wants good people who have a high knowledge but I think this society needs a lot more good thinking people who aren’t selfish and think a lot more for other people in this time.In my opinion I think the society expects me to learn in the good school and can get into the good university when I was a teenager or grow up to be an adult. I think if I don’t get into the Thai university, people expect me to learn in the other country, can speak other languages, know a lot about this world and can work with other people although they aren’t Thai people like me. I think when I become an adult this society expects me to get a good job. Being a working person and have my own business. My father always says to me that I should have my own business when I become an adult. He doesn’t want me to be an employer who has to work under someone power. My family doesn’t expect me to do that job; you have to learn these things. They always tell me to do what you like and do it the best.
I think when I become in a middle age they expect me to have a family, getting married and have a child. In my opinion, Thai people expect that women should have their own family when you’re about 30 to 40.
When I become an old woman, I think this time is my own time because Thai society doesn’t have many expectations for the old people. I think they only want the old people have good take care and live happily with their own family. In my opinion, I don’t do everything that this society expects me to do. I do what I like and happy when I do it.

Young people today

I think young people in Thailand are good or bad depend on their parents, their friends and the environment around them when they grew up. Like some young people who don’t rich and live in a bad society they don’t have a good chance in there life. These things can make them to be a thief and also can make them to be a bad people in the society.
I have seen the good side in the young people today. They aren’t embarrassed to show out what they think or what they like. Some students that I think their parents is rich they spent a lot of time to read the book and studying. They learned many subjects like piano, taekwondo, science, mathematics, and the third languages like Chinese or Japanese.

The another side about them that I think it's not good and I don't like it are they don’t have much more respect to their parents. They also stay with their friends and sometimes when they have a problem they decided to ask their friend more than their parents. I think in these days it's not easy to find a good friend that we can trust or can help us without the spite. They followed the fashion and the superstars and they spent a lot of money for the clothes. I think some clothes aren't proper for young people. Most of teenagers spend a lot of time to play games and computer. Some young students that I have seen in the other school they are smoking and didn’t spend their time for studying.

I think the society in these days is very bad. The young people have to compete for education which make the other young people who don't have a chance to learn in the school lose their furture to have a good job and get a lot of money to take care their family. The most important thing that I think the young people have to learn are about their mind and how to be a good person.

Introduction

I'm a young student in thailand who have a nomal life.
But I have learnt in the special school which give me the knowledge and the experience that are important for my life. The natural environment of this school is the most things that I like.
The teachers teach us for the necessary knowledge and teach us to be a good person like our
religious teaching.
My favourite subject in this year is art which I learn to make the wooden furniture. It's fun and it teach me to be patient. I like mathematic, science and many subjects but sometimes I got a low mark.
I'm a person who like music and art. I love to read and my favourite book is The Lord Of The Rings. I love nature too and sometimes I think that I want to be a nature conservative in the furture. I know this job doesn't give me a good price but I like it.
